It was released in September 2012 and added new features to the FIFA game series, like first touch control. The EA considers it to be the most authentic soccer game showcasing world’s top 30 leagues. The PS3 Video Game includes 46 international teams and witnesses the return of Czech Republic, Paraguay, Bolivia, India and Venezuela.
The FIFA 13 Video Game features an enhanced career mode, with players being able to manage both international club and team. In the Seasons mode, the player gets to compete with others of similar skill grade through a web league system. A player can play up to ten matches each season and earn the required number of points to move to the next level.
Another feature of the FIFA 13 game is FIFA Ultimate team. Using this mode, players can create their individual team by selecting real world football players for participating in online tournaments or discussions. Players win coins for each game, which they can spend for making their team better. In the Ultimate team mode, players and items are available as cards, which can be bought directly through auction or buying packs. The cards are divided into three categories – gold, silver and bronze. Those who earn the lowest rating fall under bronze category while the highest rated belong to gold category.
The FIFA 13 Video Game features 26 stadiums, including two real stadiums. It features prominent Sky Sports reporters Alan Smith and Martin Tyler, making observations on league matches.
